PROPOSED PROJECT

The applicant is requesting approval of a variance to reduce the required front yard setback to 21 feet 6 inches and to increase the required maximum building site coverage to 41% for a proposed 562 sq. ft. addition to an existing single-family residence.

ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTATION

The proposed project is categorically exempt (Class 1) from the provisions of CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, because the exemption provides for the minor alteration or addition to existing private structures that do not increase the floor area by 50 percent or 2,500 square feet, and involves negligible or no expansion of existing use.

Ross Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701 prior to the hearing date. If you challenge the action taken on this proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised prior to close of the public meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to OC Development Services/Planning. Comments submitted before the start of meeting will be part of the public record and distributed to the Zoning Administrator for consideration.

APPEAL PROCEDURE
