Patrick has almost 30-years experience working in the home building industry, he cut his teeth in residential homebuilding in high school, working in the field for William Lyon Homes. While attending college at UC Berkeley, he worked the counter for City of Berkeley Public Works where he implemented streamlining processes for City RFPs and developed Public Works FAQ and fast track processes for resident issues. He then accepted a position as assistant program director for home rehabilitation nonprofit, Christmas in April – Albany/Berkeley, wherein his first year, proposed, drafted, and obtained CDBG and other grants that took the annual home rehabilitation budget from $30K per year to over $300 per year. Upon transferring to Cal Poly, Patrick landed a design and drafting position with Lind and Associates Architecture, where he planned communities and designed homes for some of California’s premier homebuilders. After graduating from Cal Poly Pomona, Patrick found himself back at William Lyon Homes. During his tenure he worked is way up to senior project manager, and was responsible for the acquisition, design, entitlement, and construction management of over 3,000 homes throughout Southern California. While at Lyon, Patrick was the lead liaison to mega master developers, The Irvine Company, Rancho Mission Viejo, Lewis Communities, and Lennar/Five Points, where he implemented complex projects on ultra-streamlined schedules. In 2013 Patrick joined the Christopher Homes team where he heads land planning, architectural design, and project management for the firm. He, along with his family of teammates are known for complex, high quality, infill residential projects and apartments throughout Southern California.
Out of the office, Patrick is a loving husband and devoted father of two daughters. When not supporting his daughters at school events and dance competitions, he can be found driving, racing, and tinkering with classic cars or enjoying the outdoors on a bicycle.
Patrick holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Patrick has served on the BIA board of directors, enjoys mentoring emerging young professionals in the industry, and is proud to have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He continues to apply the work ethic, morals and team-based camaraderie learned as a youth to his professional and personal life today.
